Bees on a Bicycle Receives Best Garden Center Award in WDEF News Channel 12 Viewer’s Choice Contest
The smallest garden center in the Chattanooga metropolitan area won the Viewer’s Choice Award this year. Their internal mantra, like Mighty Mouse, is ‘tiny but mighty’ and here they are, the winners! Gardeners in the Chattanooga News Channel 12 region stretching from Walker to Blesdoe and Cherokee counties, weighed in their votes for weeks.
“On one hand it is thrilling! I cried when they called and told us.” Cath shared. “Then I thought about the ‘bigger is better’ shoppers and how they may wonder what’s going on. People either appreciate what we are doing here or don’t.”
Other nominees included Ooltewah Garden Center, Barn Nursery, Ace Hardware and Lowes.
